That's what I'm feeling like I'm in right now.

And I'm not quite sure how to handle it.

I'm definitely gotten used to being really busy in college.

Fourteen hour days, or even sixteen hour days are the norm for me. There were days this semester when I would have five rehearsals in a row, all for different repertoire or different recitals.

There have been several days this year where I would be back at school less than 10 hours after leaving school the night before.

I love what I do, so it's not really drudgery to keep these hours. (Try telling that to me when I first wake up at 7 after less than 7 hours of sleep though, haha)

However, I need to treasure these moments when I'm not so busy.

And really, any moment, because life goes by so fast.

Seriously, when did I stop being 16?

Each moment is definitely a gift, as I'm reminded daily. So many things that I take for granted.

Yet one of the simplest ways that I've experienced joy this semester is taking time to appreciate the little things, to really live in the present, not just think of the next thing I have to do.

Whether busy or relaxing, every moment is a gift!
